White Christmas

Grease - The production I directed at Westchester Broadway
I directed this production of GREASE at Westchester Broadway in 2006!

Miscellaneous
Photos from the past - photos from the present

Thoroughly Modern Millie - Broadway
I was so thrilled to finally be a part of this show. I'd seen the workshops since 1994! I understudied Jimmy and performed the role quite a bit to Susan Egan's Millie. I really miss doing this show.

Thoroughly Modern Millie - National Tour
I was given the role of Jimmy in this production and had a blast being on the road with this cast. It was a great way to revisit the show after closing it on Broadway.

Follies - Broadway - 2001 Roundabout Theatre Revival

Titanic - National Tour
I played Jim Farrell in this tour from 1998 into 2000, and also performed the role of Barrett, the stoker, several times.

The Scarlet Pimpernel - Broadway - Version 1.0
I was in the last 6 months of this version's run on Broadway at the Minskoff Theatre in 1998.

Zombie Prom - Off-Broadway
A great musical that still lives on through the recording, several high school productions, and a movie version! I had a great time working on this, and even though it closed too early, I don't miss putting on the green makeup...

The Fantasticks - Off-Broadway
I am honored to have been a part of this classic, beautiful show. From 1993 to 2000 I played the Boy, and occasionally the Mute, off and on. I really miss doing this show. When it closed at the Sullivan Street Playhouse, it was the end of an era. The show now lives on at the Snapple Theatre, but for me, its real home will always be on Sullivan Street.

The Cocoanuts - Off-Broadway
This was the show that got the Marx Brothers their first movie. I played Bob, the young juvenile. Keeping a straight face onstage with Michael McGrath as Groucho was very hard work. The cast was great, and it was the first time I'd worked with director Richard Sabellico, who is amazing. This cast included Laurie Gamache, Peter Marx, Becky Watson, Michael Mulheren, Kirby Ward and Celia Tackaberry.

Forever Plaid - Off-Broadway & Regional
This was my first show out of college. I even got my Equity card from this show! I played three of the four roles in different productions across the country. The harmonies in this show inspired my arranging for Monday Off.

Barefoot In The Park - Maltz-Jupiter Theatre
I played Paul in this terrific production in Jupiter, FL. I think it's one of Neil Simon's best!

Grease - Carousel Dinner Theatre
I was an older Danny Zuko, but, thanks to Adrian Zmed, I still have a few more years to keep playing Danny! This was great fun. It kept me skinny (and in pain).

O. Henry's Lovers - Goodspeed
This is a great piece by Joe DiPietro (ALL SHOOK UP, THE THING ABOUT MEN and I LOVE YOU, YOU'RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE) and Michael Valenti that combines three O. Henry stories to become one great musical. We did this at Goodspeed. The cast included Celia Keenan-Bolger, Amanda Naughton, Megan Lawrence, Emily Rabon-Hall, John Braden, Joe Vincent and was directed by Gordon Greenberg.

Thoroughly Modern Millie - North Shore Music Theatre
I played Trevor Graydon in this, the first regional produciton of the show. Milena Govich played Millie, Ryan Silverman played Jimmy, Amanda Serkasevich played Miss Dorothy, Terry Burrell played Muzzy and Beth McVey played Mrs. Meers. This was a great production and I had so much fun seeing it through the eyes of another role.

The Who's Tommy - North Shore Music Theatre
Tony Stevens directed this great in-the-round production. I played Capt. Walker, and while I was too young for it, really, it was a blast to sing. The cast included Erika Greene, Jay Douglas, Bill Bateman, John Hillner, and Douglas Frasier.

La Cage Aux Folles - Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera
We had six days to put this show up - that's true summer stock! but with a cast headed by Walter Charles and James Brennan, there was no way to go wrong. I played Jean-Michel and loved having Walter as a father for the second time. The cast also included Douglas Frasier, Carol Swarbrick, Jan Neuberger, Paul Ainsley, Stephen Borneauf, and Melissa Rae Mahon.

West Side Story - North Carolina Theatre
This was my first West Side. I learned the show at the last minute, only having a few days to rehearse, because they couldn't find a Tony. So they called me in and I was off on this invaulable three-week ride! This was with the original Robbins choreography and a HUGE orchestra. This was a very rare and special experience, and one of the most meaningful shows I've ever been a part of. The cast included Denene Mulay, Dan LoBuono and Mark Esposito.

Cabaret - North Shore Music Theatre
This was my fist show at North Shore - and, even though every show up there has been a great experience, I think this was the best. I played Cliff, and the cast included Lea Lavish, Jay Douglas, Merle Louise and Jane Seaman.

Shenandoah - Goodspeed
This was my first Goodspeed experience, and it was a summer of fun! This cast included Walter Charles, Marc Kudisch, Michael Park, Stephanie Douglas, Bill Whitefield, Gary Slavin, James Vanderbeek, Allison Clifford, Russell Leib and James Ludwig. I played Sam, the one who marries into the family.

"All My Children" - ABC-TV
I played Jason Sheffield from 1995 - 97 on this show. What a thrill and challenge this was. Lots of script, lots of blocking. Loved it. Miss it! Would go back in a second! My character is still in Pine Valley Prison for muder! Write letters to ABC and tell them to bring me back!

Burpee's Seedy Theatrical Company
This is an improv troupe of which I was a part in college. Only a select few are chosen to be in it, and my inolvement with the group represents some of the funniest moments of my life. The weekend of March 23, 2007 was the 25th (27th) anniversary of the group and a bunch of us alums descended upon Granville Ohio and laughed nonstop for 36 hours. Here are some photos from the weekend, and even a few from back in the day when I was actually IN college!
